Attack on online speech in Russia

Livejournal, Russia’s biggest blogging platform, has been attacked for three times during the last 2 weeks. Personally I’m not a livejournal user, though I read it sometimes and some of my friends have blogs there.

It remains unclear who organized these attacks. Some bloggers consider that it was Russia’s ruling party, because Kremlin doesn’t want political  discussions on the eve of elections. On the other hand, Russia’s President himself has a blog on Livejournal…But, who knows?
