Natural selection or technology?

I’m a great fan of modern technologies. Especially, when it comes to infertility. But sometimes I just can’t help thinking of natural selection. Isn’t technology curbing natural selection?

Let’s put it this way. With modern technologies infertile women can have children. That’s great, isn’t it?

But… why again infertility is so prevalent today? More prevalent than it was earlier.
Some hundred years ago if someone was infertile he or she simply wouldn’t have children.

Nowadays, technologies allow infertile people to have kids. But there are great chances that their kids are infertile too.

What can we end up with?
